In-Salon Team Workshop & Shadow Program
Kaine Vakai Hair Artistry is excited to continue into 2024 its very own education workshop. Our aim is to share our knowledge and techniques with other industry professionals around the country! Our day in your salon will cover off more than one subject. We focus on what we believe are the crucial parts of the clients experience in your salon as well as what makes you stand apart. Colouring, including time saving foil techniques and placement. Glossing, what to do and when. Styling, perfecting the insta-worthy photo and a master class on all things social media, breaking down photos and reels and all things important.
All classes booked for 2024 will include our Kaine Vakai Hair Artistry social media master guide complimentary for salons owners and all staff!
Team In-salon workshop
This is a full day of fun focussed learning, where Kaine, Ayden and assistants will come into your salon and take over the space for the day, keeping it interesting with look and learn + put it to practice education. Read further to see what we cover…
What to expect?
Colour
We will break down the steps of the colour service from start to finish through two model demonstration by Kaine & Hilary. We start with consultations and work our way down the line through foiling techniques including clever placement of foil work, not to cut corners, but to work smarter to create the desired look for your client without compromising condition. Our industry is forever changing and with new trends/looks we discuss different ways we can approach selecting our colours with visual colouring. Glossing (toning) is such a key part of the colour service today and with this we need to be able to adapt to the individual and their desired look. We cover what and when to use certain techniques to achieve the best result and longevity for our clients.
Styling
Here’s where we have a bit of fun! We get you involved by bringing along some models and put some new techniques to practice. Styling is so important! Almost as important as the colour itself. Perfecting styling with the use of tools, products and visual placement is what we dive into. This ensures your team is fully equipped to create the perfect final result to showcase on your socials. We start with a group look and learn session which will transition to a one on two/three practical which we will use to help create our reels.
Social Media
Social media is one of the most important tools in your salons success! Setting your team up to be able to efficiently capture content for your social media will be our main focus. We understand, just like in our salon, it’s hard to find time in the day to capture content but we will show you how simple it can be and how effective it is. We navigate step by step the fundamentals of social media, how to create reels, perfecting photos & all the little things that make a big difference.

Shadow Program - Kaine
Kaine is inviting you to join him for the day in his salon! Our shadow program is a one on one personal education day focussed on all things foil placement, colour, styling, social media on an intimate level. Kaine will select a model for the day appropriate to what content you would like covered. Kaine will cover anything else you would like including business strategies for our fellow salon owners.
